Tirzepatide Dosing — Common Questions

Your label lists it as mg/mL. If it shows total mg (e.g. "72mg Vial, 4mL"), divide: 72 ÷ 4 = 18 mg/mL. Common compounded concentrations are 10, 18, 20, and 30 mg/mL.

Most providers start at 2.5mg weekly, increasing every 4 weeks: 2.5mg → 5mg → 7.5mg → 10mg → 12.5mg → 15mg max. Your provider sets your schedule.

Use Section 1 for a quick conversion when you know your mg/mL and dose. Use Section 2 to auto-fill from prescription text or calculate how many doses your vial contains.
