Semaglutide Dosing — Common Questions
Your vial label lists concentration as mg/mL. If it shows total mg and volume separately (e.g. "10mg / 2mL"), divide: 10 ÷ 2 = 5 mg/mL. Common compounded concentrations are 1, 2, 2.5, 5, and 10 mg/mL.
Most providers start at 0.25mg weekly for the first month, then increase every 4 weeks: 0.25mg → 0.5mg → 1mg → 1.5mg → 2mg → 2.5mg max. Your provider sets your personal schedule based on your response and tolerability.
Use Section 1 for a quick unit conversion when you already know your mg/mL concentration and prescribed dose. Use Section 2 to auto-fill directly from your prescription text, or to calculate how many weekly doses your vial contains.
